Olycen carries the only copy of someone's day, so it earns trust on sets rather than in a lab. We are looking for 15–25 DITs across different cameras and different kinds of work. A free lifetime licence, in exchange for real use and the truth about what breaks.

Read this before applying

  • Run Olycen alongside your current tool, not instead of it. On any job that matters, offload with both and compare. If they ever disagree, that is the most valuable thing you can send us. Nobody's footage should be entrusted to a beta.
  • Do not format a card on our word yet unless your other tool agrees. During the beta our word is not worth a card.
  • RED .R3D and ARRI RAW have no proxies, dailies or thumbnails yet. Copy, verification, MHL, reports and delivery work on them today — only the picture side is missing. RED has granted us the SDK; ARRI's permission is still in progress, and we are doing both formats in one pass rather than shipping half of it. Until then the report says “no preview” rather than pretending.
  • There is no telemetry. If something breaks you choose to export a diagnostics file — versions, settings and a transfer summary, never your media — and you decide whether to send it.
