Terms of use

Last updated 29 September 2026. Olycen is made by EgeTech. By installing or using Olycen you agree to these terms.

The licence

A purchase ($129, one time) gives you a perpetual licence to use Olycen Transfer Manager on up to two of your own Macs. It is for you or your company — do not share or resell the licence file. There is no subscription.

The free trial

The trial runs the full app for 14 days. Reports made in a trial carry a watermark. When it ends, Olycen stops starting new offloads; anything already copied stays where it is, and transfers already running are not interrupted.

Updates and upgrades

Updates within a major version are free. A future major version may be offered to existing owners as a paid upgrade ($59); your current version keeps working either way.

What Olycen can and cannot promise

Olycen reads your card once, writes to every destination, and checks each copy by reading it back and comparing checksums. It will tell you plainly when it cannot prove a copy, and it will not call a card safe to erase without proof of two copies on separate devices.

No software can rule out every hardware fault, and the decision to erase a card is always yours. Keep your own backup discipline. Olycen is provided as is, without warranty of any kind, and to the extent the law allows EgeTech is not liable for lost or corrupted footage or for any indirect loss. Nothing here limits rights you have by law that cannot be limited.

Acceptable use

Do not reverse-engineer the licence check, remove trial limits, or use Olycen to break the law. Your footage and metadata stay yours; we claim no rights to them.

Changes

If these terms change, the date above changes. Terms in force at the time of your purchase continue to apply to that licence unless a change is in your favour.
