YoYotta alternative for Mac
YoYotta covers a different stretch of the pipeline than a pure offload tool: indexing, verified copies, transcodes, conform and LTO/LTFS archive. If you only need the set-side part, a lighter tool may do; if you archive to tape, it will not replace YoYotta.

Who should pick which
Stay with YoYotta if
- You archive to LTO/LTFS. Olycen does not write tape.
- You need conform and larger post-house workflows around the copy.
Pick Olycen if
- You mainly need a clean, verified set offload with MHL and a report, at a one-time price you can read on the pricing page.
- Read-back verification, evidence-gated formatting and eject protection are the whole point of the app, not an add-on.
Switching: what to expect
- The two are complementary more than competing: many crews could offload with Olycen and archive elsewhere.
